The results of stacking a dirt jump

Two plates and sixteen screws later. Surely it wont take as long as the doc reckons to heal – 6-8 weeks. Look at Valentino Rossi, back on the MotoGP podium just 4 weeks after breaking his leg. I am inspired. Here are my X-rays and photos of my wounds.

I came across this great story on Conrad Stoltz’ blog. He injured his wrist while riding and gives a funny rendition of the crash and the weeks that followed. Check it out here

That looks like my x-ray after i wiped and broke my wrist in the Knysna forest – one plate and 10 screws later, but almost identical! All i can say is ouch, but mine healed perfectly – good luck!!!
