Nico Pfitzenmaier. Man on the Move.
11 Apr 2012, written by Rory 1 CommentsNico Pfitzenmaier is an interesting fellow. This is confirmed when I meet with the lean German rider in the Robert Daniel gazebo after stage 2 of the 2012 ABSA Cape Epic. While most riders are downing protein shakes and refueling with sports nutrition products, Pfitzenmaier is eating a meal resembling raw vegetables and a form of rice, which he later explains is a highly nutritious seed.

24 Nov 2011, written by Rory 0 CommentsThe organisers of XTERRA South Africa are excited to announce that Totalsports will replace DUESOUTH as the Title Sponsor of South Africa’s most popular triathlon series.
According to Michael Meyer, Director Stillwater Sport & Entertainment, XTERRA SA is very excited to once again welcome onboard Totalsports as the title sponsor. “The event is now called the Totalsports XTERRA presented by REHIDRAT® SPORT. Totalsports is part of the same sports retail stable as Duesouth, which means we will still continue to see Duesouth at the events. Although Duesouth’s support has been superb, we are thrilled to have Totalsports as the new Title Sponsor as it is sure to bring a freshness and excitement to the event. With many more stores across South Africa, the partnership with Totalsports will increase XTERRA SA’s awareness platform dramatically,” says Meyer.
