All Systems Go for 2012 MTB World Cup
Ticket sales are open and selling fast for the RockyRoads UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Pietermaritzburg, to be held at the Cascades Mountain Bike Park in less than two months.
Officials are on track to complete renovations to the world-famous facility well in time to be able to welcome the world’s best downhill and cross-country riders.

Nino Schurter wins in PMB World Cup XCO
The men’s Elite race was the highlight of the day, with the crowds lining the course in full support of local hero Burry Stander. Stander was in the lead bunch on the first lap, until a fall damaged his derailleur which effectively put him out of contention for the rest of the race.

Pietermaritzburg to kick off UCI 2011 Mountain Bike World Cup season
UCI Mountain Bike World Cup series will return to United States and South Africa with a new round in Czech Republic.
The UCI announced the 2011 Mountain Bike World Cup schedule on Friday following the second day of meetings by the UCI Management Committee in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Gee Atherton wins Fort William DH World cup, Minnaar 3rd
Home favourite Gee Atherton (Commencal) blitzed his way to the win in a thrilling men’s downhill final at today’s UCI Mountain Bike World Cup round in Fort William, Scotland. South Africa’s Greg Minnaar finished 3rd.
