Bjarne Riis confirms SunGard to replace Saxo Bank as team sponsor

The team will have two new sponsors, says Riis, one of which he confirmed as US software giant SunGard, the other will be revealed at a later date.
Hunter, Fuglsang exchanged blows in Tour de France stage 3
07 Jul 2010, written by Rory 0 CommentsGarmin-Transitions rider Robert Hunter quickly defended himself Wednesday after awaking to claims he punched Saxo Bank’s Jakob Fuglsang on the third stage of the Tour de France.
L’Equipe newspaper reported that Hunter was seen punching Fuglsang on one of the seven cobblestone sectors on the chaotic third stage.
The report said Hunter “has been known for his temperamental attitude on the bike for years … when is this kind of behavior going to be punished?”

Despite the setbacks, Schleck vows he’s ready for the Ardennes classics, where he won the biggest race of his career, Liège-Bastogne-Liège last year. This weekend he has his eye on the Amstel Gold Race.
Cancellara wins 2010 Paris-Roubaix

The Swiss strongman caught Tom Boonen napping with about 50km to go and shot away from the Quick Step captain and a short list of elite favorites to solo in for a well-deserved victory, his second on the Roubaix velodrome.
