Fixie vs Lotus7

Friday is always a great day to commute into work, especially when the weather is playing along. However, today was a tough choice for me. My brother, Trevor, kindly gave me his Lotus7 to use for the day, not something to sniff at. I made my choice, cruised to work somewhat quicker than usual arriving with a wicked hair style and trembling hands. Its been a long time since I have been this excited about driving a car!
While driving I thought of an awesome challenge to put to Trev. I will ride my fixie into town from the Southern suburbs while he races his Lotus7. It will have to be in peak hour traffic with safety being a primary concern. It will be the agility and power of the Lotus versus my skills and fitness on the fixie. Watch this space, should be a blast.

A bro vs bro challenge – awesome! but I think the fixie has a definite race advantage over the lotus in that, the fixie is not as huge a chick magnet as the lotus. Its going to be hard racing the lotus through town with all the passing ladies throwing themselves over the bonnet at every stop :p

How about we open up the challenge to Crank readers? Perhaps a few Crank readers will join you? Some on Fixies, others in cars slowing down the orange Lotus in the traffic…
