Eurobike day 1 highlights

Eurobike, the world’s leading trade show for the bicycle industry is currently taking place in the town of Argenbühl, Germany. Our friends from Olympic Cycles are attending and have sent some feedback after the first day. By all accounts the venue is huge and jam packed with all the latest bikes and gadgets that the industry has on offer. Here are some points that have stood out for Jason so far.

Electra – totally what we need in Cape Town. So cool, probably to cool.

E-bikes. Everywhere. E-doping could be true after what I saw today.

Silverback Technologies. Our own Silverback boys, showing their stuff to the world.

Tange and Columbus tubing booths. Awesome product. Some high end steel tubing, upgraded this year (xcr) and last (spirit).

The Penny Farthing (definitely going to order a couple of those)

Fixie Inc – was so early I spotted them even forgot, but picture attached

Syndicate v10 from Santa Cruz. Only 150 to be made world wide. You can pre order now, going at R 80 000. Full carbon DH, as Greg and Steve ride it.

Did I mention Electra

Colnago – 1 of 59, ltd ed c59! European style, through and through.

29er tyres, not to many to be found, but some great new ones from GEAX

Continental – with a full revamp of the Mountain King

Fox rear shock remote lock out. Been waiting to see that, soon available in SA to retro fit to your existing FOX rear shock

Scott bikes – Western After party
