Twenty three year old Godfrey Buziba showed his return to form when he claimed top points at the final 5th and 6th Legs of the BMX SA Grand National series in Gauteng at the weekend.
Having recovered from a slight injury, Buziba took to the track and rode consistent heats to take top honours in the Elite Men category.

The Contego Wines2Whales MTB Race powered by Maserati celebrates its fourth anniversary in November. Taking place the weekend of 09 – 11 November 2012, teams of two riders (male/female/mixed) will be seen crossing through (and over) 13 wineries, 26 private farms, six mountains, historic roads and mountain passes, nature conservation areas (including the Kogelberg Biosphere) before finishing within sight of the famous whales of Hermanus! The distance covered will vary from 70km to 80km each day.

This year’s Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge (18 November) will be the end of the first chapter of the cycling career of Cherise Stander (Momentum-Toyota).
From next year Stander, who is a past winner of the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge, will compete virtually only in mountain-bike races. Her goal is to represent South Africa at the 2014 UCI World Marathon Mountain Bike Championship in Pietermaritzburg.
