BC Bike Race – Brandon Stewart and Max Knox show their class
The BC Bike Race is a seven day mountain bike stage race held in British Columbia, Canada and claims to have the most singletrack riding of any similar multi-day race.
The South African pair Max Knox and Brandon Stewart (Team DCM) won the final stage of the BC Bike Race at the weekend, giving them a second stage win in the international event and securing second place overall in the final General Classification.
The victory makes Stewart the only South African to have won stages at the Absa Cape Epic, the Transalp and the BC Bike Race.

Tour de France competition
The Tour de France is upon us and what an exciting 3 weeks it is going to be. Will Lance manage a podium finish? Will Contador simply ride away from the peloton in the mountains? All these questions will be answered in due time. Crank has decided to spice things up and run 3 competitions during the duration of the tour.

Fabian Cancellara wins 2010 Tour de France prologue in Rotterdam
World time trial champion Fabian Cancellara (Saxo Bank) donned the first yellow jersey of the 2010 Tour de France after easily winning the 8.9km prologue in Rotterdam on Saturday. Lance Armstrong had a good ride coming home in 4th, 22 seconds behind Cancellara.

Lance Armstrong to race triathlon in 2011
Although this Tour de France will be his last, Lance Armstrong isn’t finished with elite-level racing just yet. The seven-time Tour champion is planning another comeback next year — in triathlon. The plan is to race triathlon under the RadioShack banner. Lance is also considering doing the Cape Epic next year.

Greg Minnaar wins US Pro GRT #3 in Tahoe
Santa Cruz Syndicate’s Greg Minnaar bagged another win this season at Northstar in Lake Tahoe at the US Pro GRT downhill. He was joined on the podium by Bryn Atkinson (Transitions) in second, Syndicate teammate Steve Peat in third, Cedric Gracia (Brigade) in fourth and the young Mitch Ropelato in fifth.
