Happy Friday is back after the Easter break, enjoy and safe riding this weekend.

While 1200 riders suffer through stage 5 of the Absa Cape Epic, I sit here at my desk, a little bleak that I am not riding, but happy to be posting this Happy Friday and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Enjoy.

There is a big week of mountain biking coming up. The the Absa Cape Epic starts on Sunday, taking the riders through 781km of Western Capes best trails. All eyes will be on the duo of Burry Stander and Christof Sauser to see if they can retain their title. Until then, take a look at this. Happy Friday.

Emily Batty once again had a great year in 2011, culminating in a solid 8th place at the XCO World Champs in Champéry, Switzerland. Keep a look out for her in Pietermariztburg this weekend. Just look out for the lady with all the cameras around her.

Swiss u23 rider Vivienne Meyer has just touched down in South Africa to compete in the MTB World Cup in Pietermarizburg later this month. Vivienne enjoyed some solid results last year, achieving top10 positions in all the XCO World Cups as well as a 2nd place at the Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge. Definitely a rider to look out for in Pietermarizburg
