Xterra world champion joins the Contego Wines2Whales Charity Drive
Only two weeks after acquiring his fourth XTERRA World Champion title, XTERRA legend Conrad Stoltz will be back in the saddle, this time doing his bit for charity at the second annual Contego Wines2Whales MTB Race taking place from Friday, 12 November 2010 until Sunday, 14 November 2010.

A day and night with Legends
Yesterday Crank attended the Songo.info charity group ride on table mountian with Burry Stander, Christof Sauser and Dan Hugo. Its not everyday that you get you share your local trails with two mountainbike World Champions and an Xterra Champion. We then attended the cocktail dinner in Greenpoint and got to hear to some great thoughts, tips and training secrets from the three legends.

Torp in top gear
Former Norwegian national champion Linn Torp turned mechanical problems into opportunity as she sprinted to her first podium finish in South Africa at the 97- kilometre MTN OFM Classic in Bloemfontein on Sunday.
The Team bizhub rider, who was stuck in top gear for the last 40 kilometres after snapping a gear cable, was sandwiched by MTN-Energade team-mates Robyn de Groot (first) and Marissa van der Merwe (third) on the finishing line.

Floyd Landis finishes fourth overall in Tour of Southland
Disgraced American cyclist Floyd Landis has finished fourth overall in New Zealand’s premier road Tour, the Tour of Southland. He ended the nine-stage race more than three minutes behind winner Hayden Roulston of New Zealand.
Just 1/1000th of a second secured Calder Stewart-Bike NZ cyclist Hayden Roulston his fourth PowerNet Tour of Southland title in Invercargill.

Lance Armstrong to race in Hawaii Ironman
Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong has set himself a new challenge with plans to compete for his first time in the gruelling Ironman World Championships in 2011.
In a video posted on EveryManTri.com, his coach Chris Carmichael said: “2011, [Lance Armstrong] will be here. He’s super psyched and I think he wants to do more than win his age group.”
